This 1965 Harley Davidson Panhead is a mostly original 1965 Harley Davidson motorcycle. This Panhead retains its original paint, except for the tanks. The sheet metal, rims, windshield and all other items (except saddlebags) were fitted at the factory. The paint shows well, and has a few scratches, but no dents or gouges in the sheet metal. The chrome is in nice condition. The entire panhead motorcycle has a great original patina look. There is a little rust area on the rims which would be expected on an original motorcycle. This motorcycle was kept in tip top mechanical condition. The power plant has been rebuilt and is in excellent condition with the addition of a Cycle E;ectric generator. It is a fantastic motorcycle! Smooth and clean through the gears with plenty of power to roll on.

This bike was purchased new by my uncle in New Jersey. A relative sold the Pan to someone in Ohio in the 80's and it was lost. This Pan was re-purchased in Ohio in 1990 because it matched the paperwork I had from my uncle.

The motor was gone thru at 32k, transmission was done 2 years ago. I do have the shop bill. The sheet metal is all original, new fuel lines, tanks were cleaned, new tires and exhaust (I do have the original exhaust) and rear crash bars. All the fluids were removed to store in our game-room. It has been in our house for a year and a half. This is a wonderful motorcycle to ride, it shows its age but it runs great. I just cannot ride her anymore because of a back operation and its time to let her go.

I found the bike I have always wanted and I need to make it happen.

Mileage: 15,265 miles indicated on a working odometer.

Paint:  Original paint that has wear marks, minor scratches and great patina that continues to hold a great sheen. Exception is that a center panel in black has been added to the tanks. Nice looking and should be easily removed if desired by new owner.

Chrome: Original chrome is in nice condition with minimal pitting.

Mechanical: The motorcycle runs excellent. The motor and transmission have been rebuilt at about 21,000 miles and are in great tune. This bike has been parked in the living room of the house for a few years. It was put away dry and would need a service. Old red gasket material visible when belly numbers checked.

Wheels:  Rims are original black star hubs, brand new Shinko Tires, 16 x 5 whitewalls.

Title: Clear Ohio Title and registration in seller’s name.
