Overview
This motorcycle was rebuilt and had an engine rebuild in the late 1980’s. The bike has about 5000 miles since the restoration. The bike was registered in the State of Washington and they decided that it needed a frame number so they applied a number to the right down tube. They did not accept that Harley did not apply VIN numbers to the frame until 1970 and that the engine number should be used. This motorcycle has since been re-titled in California using the same State of Washington number. This motorcycle has been cleaned and tuned. It is a great runner, first ignition kick and smooth through the gears. This is a very nice looking, great running motorcycle, it is not perfect. Frame is straight and unaltered. It does have matching belly numbers. The engine is so strong we suspect that it has a build kit or it may have been stroked.

Paint
The paint on this motorcycle is a repaint from the 80’s. It is a blue gold paint. Paint is in excellent condition, minimal scratches. It cleaned right up with washing and polishing.
Sheet Metal
Sheet metal appears to be original sheet metal with minimal dings, no dents. There is a comment that the front fender may be from a later year. Check the pictures.
Chrome
All chrome was redone in the late 80’s during rebuild. It was well applied and carry’s a good shine.
Mechanical
This motorcycle is in excellent mechanical condition with a new motor built by a professional shop 5,000 miles ago. This bike has been ridden and it has a few small items that could use attention and that may not be stock.
