The last of the Panheads! The first year Harley introduced an electric start and the ONLY Harley in history with both electric and kick start (to help people with the transition to the new technology)!
This Harley is in excellent condition and was purchased directly from a retired police officer that did the restore. Bike has TONS of extra chrome parts and nearly every nut has been replaced with chrome acorn nuts. The license is a 1965 motorcycle tag that has been authenticated by the State of Florida and runs with the bike.
The only “warts” on the bike are a tiny chip on the rear fender, some small spider webbing on the windshield and some scratches on the chrome under the seat where the springs meet the base (all shown in the photos). This 1965 Harley Davidson Electra Glide is real head-turner and conversation starter! It has won several trophies at local classic motor vehicle shows.

Mileage
28,821 on a working odometer. Believed to be original miles
Paint
Shiny, high gloss, very minimal wear. Correct Harley color . Paint is new during the restoration. No known defects,, minimal scratches or dings.
Sheet Metal
Al original , factory sheet metal that is well fit and in excellent condition. Minimal dings, no dents noted.

Tons of extra chrome, excellent condition
Mechanical
Bike was just serviced, had a new battery and plugs installed, carbs adjusted and points cleaned.
This bike starts right up if you know the starting process. Electric start is outstanding and a great sound!
