Overview

1912 INDIAN STANDARD TWIN MOTORCYCLE 7hp

This is a restored Indian Motorcycle, Twin Cylinder, chain drive. Indian Motorcycle in 1912 was a hard tail motorcycle frame. Most Indian motorcycles and other’ marques of this eras were single cylinder motorcycles with a belt drive but this one sported the new high power twin motor with a single speed engaged by a clutch. This motorcycle was found sitting in a barn back in the 70’s. The motorcycle was taken to the new owner’s garage where it languished for a few years until a restoration project could commence. The 1912 Indian was taken to a professional shop for the restoration. Randy Walker did the restoration and the bike was delivered and started at Oley in 2009. This 3 year restoration covered the entire motorcycle and the bike is correct and running. Pictures and video’s available. This Indian motorcycle will sell on a bill of sale. The sale includes all of the pictures and invoices that have accrued over the years on this classic motorcycle. The Indian motorcycle currently resides in the front room of the owner/restorer and it is ready for museum duty or garage summer picnic duty.
