Overview

This 1976 Harley Davidson FLH is Factory Original, with a lot of period extra chrome. It is in excellent working order. This FLH with sidecar was purchased in Nebraska and driven home (Connecticut!) by the current owner. There is a story associated with this motorcycle provided by the first owner that Dolly Parton rode in this bike for the Inaugural Parade of President Reagan. (The search for proof continues).

This 1976 Harley Davidson FLH came from the factory with the sidecar. This bike was purchased in Nebraska in 2000 and driven home to Connecticut with zero problems. It has served faithfully since for parades and special outings. This is a factory original motorcycle including the paint. It is adorned with extra chrome as is the case of many of the Harley’s of this period and year. Numbers are correct with matching belly numbers and the sidecar numbers are the correct sequence for factory delivery. This motorcycle is ready to be driven (you drive a sidecar and ride a motorcycle!) to its new home. Clear Nebraska title from the second owner.

Mileage

24,000. The current owner has ridden this motorcycle about 1500 miles since purchase.

Paint

Black, with a silver metal flake. The paint appears to be original from the factory. The pictures show the silver metal flake and doesn't do the paint justice. It carries a great sheen and is only in need of a good polish. It has not been altered during its current stay with this owner. No flaking or major scratches noted. Minimal use marks. The emblem on the windscreen is original and very rare.

Sheet Metal

All in good condition. No dings or dents noted. Well fit at the factory and no known alteration except addition of some chrome. Minimal signs of use.

Chrome

Very good condition. Could use a nice cleaning with Never Dull.

Mechanical

Very Good condition. Fires right up and smooth through the gears. It does have some rust in the gas tank that needs to be filtered out. There is an aftermarket oil cooler that is in use.

Wheels & Tires

Rims: original to the bike
Front & Rear Tire: all tires in good condition
