This 1938 Indian Chief was acquired by the seller in the late 70’s. It was his project restoration and has become his go to ride ever since. This Indian Chief has completed many years of faithful service including SoCal AMCA Road runs in Borrego Springs and in Death Valley. The bike is fresh tuned, polished, and ready for the next ride. Clear California Title and current registration. This is a 1937 engine in an early 1938 frame.

Excellent pain and paint prep. Some small dings and nicks on the frame from road use.
Sheet metal is in excellent condition and well fit. No sign of any repairs made or needed. No dings or dents found.
Most shiny stuff on this motorcycle appears to be nickle and in good condition.
This motorcycle is in Excellent mechanical condition. It has good compression and has recently been tuned. First kick machine if you know the drill. Transmission shifts through the gears and the bike rolls smoothly. The owner is a restorer of motorcycles.
Rims are painted steel with painted steel spokes and nipples.
Front Tire: Goodyear 500 X 16 date coded out, serviceable.
Rear Tire: Coker 600 X 18 date coded out, serviceable.
