This 1938 Velocette 350 MAC was purchased as an original set of unassembled parts in 2000. Because of the condition of the frame and foot pegs, it is suggested that the machine may have been used used for racing. Engine has been completely rebuilt by a knowledgeable motorcycle engine and transmission builder in Long beach CA. Frame was powder coated. Gas tank, tool box, and oil tank are all original parts. Mudguards are not original. Motor runs strong and the motorcycle is smooth through the gears. Watch and listen to the video. This newly restored motorcycle is ready for the next curator and is in need of the proper break in procedures to enhance its long term existence.
It is noted that this motorcycle has a 1938 frame number (VIN) and that the engine number translates to 1947.
