1947 Indian Chief motorcycle, used repaint with all original pieces. This is a factory bike with matching numbers. The bike was repainted a non Indian color and a Indian head decal placed on the tanks. The bike was purchased at a Sheriff’s auction in 2001. The bike was tuned and ridden for a few years before being placed in the den next to the pool table. This motorcycle has a clear Idaho Title. The sheet metal is factory metal. The tanks have been lined by the previous owner and there are some storage dents on the right front tank with subsequent paint damage. This is a functioning motorcycle that can be ridden until the new owner decides to repaint/restore.
This bike just had a great run at the Borrego Springs Winter Road Run March 2014. It runs so good I believe it is an 80 inch. Lots of clean pure power. Runs Straight and true, smooth through the gears.
