The 1970 Norton 750 Commando S was a very limited production bike. This bike is 98% original. I have never seen one with the original fiberglass tank and side covers. It was complete and running when found, but the tank had been rattle-canned painted. That paint has been removed by meticulous wet sanding to reveal the original colored gel coat. Road-ready with very few repo parts. Tank has been coated with Caswell sealant. The headlight halo ring has the original plastic nuts and the tail piece is the original metal silver flake fiberglass.
Electrically sound with all lights working. Speedo and Tach are operable. Valves checked, wiring checked and now well-tuned .
I need to sell a bike to help buy a house. This Norton 750 S is rarer and in better shape than my other Norton so this one goes!
Original paint. It had previously been rattle-canned yellow. The yellow paint was meticulously wet sanded to reveal the original blue gel coat. New decals.
Tank and side covers are original gel coat fiberglass and the fenders are original chrome.
Excellent. All original except handlebars.
Runs great! Wiring and carbs gone through. Isolastic motor mounts checked but not in need of replacement. No choke assembly on this bike. Fires right up, smooth through the gears.
Rims: Original chromed steel with chrome spokes and nipples.
