This 1911 Excelsior Motorcycle is a fine example of a barn fresh find. New tires were installed and an exhaust pipe was fitted and the machine was successfully taken for a ride! It appears to be complete as purchased from the dealer. It is a single cylinder single speed chain drive. The chains are correct for the period.
“This bike has been run up and down the taxiway so I know there are no strange noises. There are new tubes and tires and the wheels have been gone through and there are no wobbles. The only real down deal is the plumbered exhaust pipe. The valves are protected. “ says the owner.
Absolutely original. Needs an oil bath to bring back sheen. The decal on one side is faded more than the other, probably sun exposure during storage.
Excellent / minimal dings or dents, Front fender tip is missing. The tank may have been worked on.
This 1911 Excelsior Motorcycle Runs great, Starts first ignition kick (no throttle). Rides smooth.
