Overview

This 1947 Indian Chief is freshly restored with all original parts. The sheet metal is original and was prepared by a quality restorer. Engine and power plant are all new and built by a knowledgeable classic Indian builder.

This motorcycle is not painted in a standard Indian color for the year as the original supporter of the build wanted it to be this color, which is technically correct as it is a Dupont paint color.

The bike has just been completed and needs break-in mileage of the powerplant and a technical survey of all connections after a 250-mile break-in. This 1947 Indian Chief is a matching number motorcycle with a clean California Title.
