Motorcycle Conditions:

Sheet Metal:
The front fender was manufactured by an artisan in Germany and the rear fender was made by Colton Haridison, noted metalsmith whose work has been featured in Hotrod magazine.  When the bike was found, the original fenders were too far gone successfully bring back to life, so high quality replacements were obtained.  The original gas tank was sealed & painted, but eventually leaked. I had the tank resealed professionally
once again, but it still continued to leak. Rather than go though that once more, I obtained a high quality replacement tank made by another vendor in Germany as it is difficult to find high quality reproductions here.  The chain guard is reproduction from Jerry Greers. There was no chain guard when I found the bike.

Paint Condition:
The sheet metal and front and rear fenders forks, brackets, tank, battery box and tool box are painted in original Indian red. The color swatch for this color was provided by Bob Stark and came from a sample that he sprayed from an original can of Indian enamel paint. The paint consists of a base coat and several coats of clear. The Indian decal was custom made and the gold color of the decal was antiqued to look
aged. The pinstriping was done by John Hannukaine to match the decal as close as possible and then clear coated approximately five times and sanded in between to get the pinstriping and the decal as smooth as possible. The paint condition is exceptional.

Chrome / Nickle / Misc. Plating Condition
The plating of the cylinder heads, intake manifold, nuts, etc. is done in Watts nickel as it was done at the factory and is in excellent condition.

Front Wheel Size and Make:
18" Rear Tire Size and Make 400x18 Coker "Indian Script" tires
18" Rear Tire Size and Make 400-18 Coker "Indian Script" tires

Wheel and Tire Condition:
These are not the original tires as the originals were rotted and the tubes did not hold air. The rims are in decent shape. You can see scratches on them from road debris and wear, they are the original black paint that would come standard from the factory.
Mechanical Condition:
The engine kicks over easily and you can feel the compression as you follow through with you foot. The motor has been completely overhauled and rebuilt by Roy Davies and has only been heat cycled.
