1954 FLE, 50thth Anniversary Model. Restored from a complete and running machine out of Texas. Not a pieced together restoration. Total nut and bolt restoration, no detail left unchecked to bring up to show room quality. This is a professional restoration by a motorcycle restorer with an eye towards AMCA judging and 100 points. This is a beautiful motorcycle with perfect fit and finish.
The engine and drive train are all refreshed with new parts and it runs like a charm. Just missing the proper break in miles.
The handlebars are factory speedster bars which were in mint condition and have been triple chrome plated. The speedometer was restored by Stan Selerowski at Vintage Rust and includes a new face, needle and outer glass. The solo seat was restored by Michael Paquette at Worsham Castle Cycle Leather to factory specs. The bike features triple plated chrome crash bars front and rear. They are attached to a correct 1954 Harley Wishbone frame. The date code on it is still visible with the gas tanks off.
This excellent motorcycle is ready for your living room, a ride on a road run, or an AMCA judging event!
Dixon CA 2019 AMCA Judging a Jr 1st at 90.5 points!
5.00 break in miles since restoration.
Excellent, factory colors: Glacier Blue / Daytona Ivory. This machine has been restored with a two-tone paint scheme. The Glacier Blue and Daytona Ivory were offered in this alternating combination for the year of 1954 only. The factory allowed the purchaser to choose between the tanks and the fenders as to which color went where. All parts are O.E. except for the stainless headlight tin, the color-coordinated blue hand grips and the footboard mats all of which are the best reproduction parts available.
Excellently prepared sheet metal from original pieces. Properly prepared and fit prior to paint.
All new chrome by a quality company. Chrome where chrome should be and not more.
Excellent. Engine and tranny built be a professional builder. Balanced and within tolerances.
