1967 BSA Model D10 Silver Bantam
(One Year Only Model)

Here is a rare one!  1967 BSA D10 Silver Bantam, only produced in 1967, this has been in a private collection in Southern California for many years, as you can see it has been well taken care of, it is believed to be an original paint bike with the exception of the added BSA Stickers on the tank, It has not been started in a few years but was in tip top shape when put away.  Owner put away right by draining all fluids, and removing battery.  To get running I'm imagining it will only take a battery and some fresh gas?

History & Development

  • Origins: The Bantam line stems from the DKW RT 125 design and was produced by BSA from 1948 to 1971

  • Introduction of the D10 (1967):

    • The D10 marked a significant upgrade in the series, delivering 10 bhp—a noticeable increase over the D7’s 7.4 bhp

    • Featured a new Amal Concentric carburettor, improved Wipac alternator, and repositioned ignition points

  • Variants: Four models were offered:

    • Silver (economy, 3-speed, with nacelle)

    • Supreme (premium styling, 3-speed)

    • Sports (4-speed, chrome mudguards, fly-screen, hump-seat)

    • Bushman (off-road, high pipes, skid plate, 19″ wheels)

  • Production Run: The D10 series was produced during 1967 only before transitioning to the D14/4 in 1968
