This 1945 Harley Davidson EL has been resting in storage for about 20 years. Running when parked, it just took clean fuel and a fresh battery to fire right up, video available. The bike was then cleaned in preparation for the sale; she is a beauty! Bike was restored and rebuilt by Famous racer/mechanic/dealer Roy Burke. Burke built beautiful, hearty runners and was not concerned about AMCA judging. This bike has great paint and runs as good as it looks. The bike completed the Borrego Springs roadrun back in the early 90’s and was put away. It has less than 1000 miles on the mechanical rebuild and the restoration.
This bike is once again ready for show and go!Brought out of storage, serviced and cleaned June 1, 25
Sheet Metal:
Original tanks, fender, and fiberglass body, also included are original painted tanks
Paint Condition:
Paint is in fair condition for its age, a few scratches and chips here and there but nothing major, current tanks are in primer, original painted tanks are included, not sure why they was ever uninstalled and replaced?
Chrome / Nickle / Misc. Plating Condition:
Appears to be in great condition, should clean up well.
Wheel and Tire Condition:
Servicar rolls very well, as you can see it has brand new tires on it,
Mechanical Condition
This Servicar has great compression kicks through as it should, transmission shifts through all the gears, it has been a few years since this was started, shouldn’t take much to get it back in commission, a battery, and maybe a carb clean?
