1937 Indian Scout Racer /
Part of the Hanger Collection

Fresh out of long-term storage in “The Hangar,” this purpose-built 1937 Indian Scout racer/bobber is the real deal — a machine with roots deep in the golden era of West Coast racing culture.

Commissioned by Jim Profit and brought to life by “Smokey” of Long Beach, using an engine sourced from legendary builder “Pop” Lee Stanley, this bike represents a rare collaboration between some of Southern California’s most respected Indian racing minds. Smokey completed the final assembly, and the bike was delivered to its current owner — where it remained tucked away, preserved and untouched for over 15 years.

Now uncovered, cleaned, and ready for its next chapter.
